Licensed Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant

Overview
Auburn Family Health Center is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented licensed nurse or certified medical assistant with phlebotomy skills to join our clinical team. This is a full-time, hands-on role supporting patient care in a family practice setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient intake and rooming

  • Phlebotomy and specimen handling

  • Assisting providers during exams and procedures

  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

  • Supporting daily clinic workflow

 

Qualifications

  • Licensed nurse or certified medical assistant

  • Phlebotomy experience required

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

  • Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment

  • Prior experience preferred

Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Emergency Department

Full-time | Auburn, NE | In-person

Overview

Auburn Family Health Center is seeking a confident and experienced Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide direct patient care in our Emergency Department. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a rural emergency setting, working under physician supervision to deliver timely, high-quality emergency medical care.

This position is Emergency Department only and does not include family medicine or primary care responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in the Emergency Department
  • Perform focused histories, physical exams, and clinical documentation
  • Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies
  • Administer medications and perform minor emergency procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to manage acute care

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current PA-C certification (NCCPA) and Nebraska licensure eligibility
  • Strong clinical judgment in emergency or acute care settings
  • Ability to work independently and remain effective under pressure

 

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time, salaried position (average 36 hours/week)
  • Emergency Department coverage includes 24–48 hour shifts
  • Fast-paced, physically active rural emergency setting
