Overview
Auburn Family Health Center is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented licensed nurse or certified medical assistant with phlebotomy skills to join our clinical team. This is a full-time, hands-on role supporting patient care in a family practice setting.

Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Emergency Department
Full-time | Auburn, NE | In-person
Overview
Auburn Family Health Center is seeking a confident and experienced Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide direct patient care in our Emergency Department. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a rural emergency setting, working under physician supervision to deliver timely, high-quality emergency medical care.
This position is Emergency Department only and does not include family medicine or primary care responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in the Emergency Department
- Perform focused histories, physical exams, and clinical documentation
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies
- Administer medications and perform minor emergency procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to manage acute care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current PA-C certification (NCCPA) and Nebraska licensure eligibility
- Strong clinical judgment in emergency or acute care settings
- Ability to work independently and remain effective under pressure
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time, salaried position (average 36 hours/week)
- Emergency Department coverage includes 24–48 hour shifts
- Fast-paced, physically active rural emergency setting
